Set at about 800 meters of altitude in the woods of the Maritime Alps, the locality of Pamparato is appreciated by visitors both in winter for its proximity to Alpine ski slopes and in summer for the many hiking and mountain biking itineraries in its vicinity.
Walking along one of the streets of the villages one arrives at the ancient house which originally housed the village pharmacy and which is attached to a caretaker’s house. The entire house exhibits a solid, stable structure with a slate roof as is customary in mountain houses.
An old wooden door leads into the interior of the house which is in need of renovation and which consists of four habitations. The stone staircase with a wooden railing connects the four apartments and offers sufficient space for an elevator to be added.
The rooms of the four apartments – of which we present the floorplans – exhibit various architectural features typical of Alpine house like for example coffered or vaulted ceilings or arched windows opening onto the Alpine landscape. The ground floor contains service rooms attached to the single apartments like cellars and store rooms.
